At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Your support makes all the difference.“It was like a UFO landed” said chat show host Jimmy Kimmel after an April Fools’ prank saw Rihanna wake him up with an impromptu performance of her new song “B**** Better Have My Money”.
The popular chat show host was sleeping in his Los Angeles home when he was awoken by Rihanna as part of an April Fools’ prank arranged by his wife Molly.
Opening the door for Rihanna and her team of dancers, the pranksters entered Kimmel’s room and blasted out the song, while throwing dollar bills and confetti at the 47-year-old. Kimmel was also treated to a strobe light show as Rihanna bounced up and down on his bed, while aiming pillows at his head.
Confused by the rude awakening, Kimmel, who was still wearing his mouthguard at the time, is filmed asking, “What is happening? What the f**k is going on?”
Speaking to Rihanna on his ABC chat show later that day, Kimmel told the Bajan singer “I will admit, that’s not usually how you come to me in my dreams.”
