This week, ITV stirred up memories of one of TV’s greatest scandals with their three-part miniseries Quiz.

Quiz tells the story of Charles Ingram, the former British Army major who tried to cheat his way to a million pound prize on the hit game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? in 2001.

Matthew MacFayden (Succession) plays Ingram, while Fleabag‘s Sian Clifford plays his wife, Diana, who sat in the audience during the taping of the show and coughed to indicate the correct answers.

The Damned United star Michael Sheen also appears, playing quiz host Chris Tarrant.

Ingram did manage to successfully win the million pound jackpot, but his ruse was quickly detected by the show’s producers, and a lengthy criminal trial ensued.

But while everyone remembers Ingram’s crime, most people have forgotten the actual questions themselves, which cover everything from architecture to daytime soaps.

Here is a quiz comprised of the exact questions from Ingram’s scandalous winning performance.

Are you able to do as well as Charles Ingram... without cheating?
