Pose is coming to an end after three seasons.
Ryan Murphy’s groundbreaking drama, which centres around the gender-conforming ball culture of New York in the 1980s and 1990s, will return for its third season FX in the US on 2 May.
However, the season will only run for seven episodes, with its finale airing on 6 June. It is expected to come to BBC Two later this year.
Murphy said of the show’s conclusion: “We got to tell the exact story we wanted, as we wanted to tell it, and I’m incredibly honoured and grateful.”
Running for two seasons so far, Pose has been praised for its casting of Black and Latinx LGBTQ actors.
