Your support makes all the difference. The true story behind the capture of Adolf Eichmann, one of the chief architects of the Holocaust, comes to screen in a new Netflix film.
Despite reports Eichmann died soon after the collapse of Nazi Germany, intelligence agencies discovered that he had fled to Buenos Aires, and was living a secret life in one of the city's suburbs.
Israel's intelligence agency Mossad and security agency Shin Bet brought together an eight-man team, dispatched to capture Eichmann and smuggle him out of Argentina, so that he would be able to stand trial in Israel.
Operation Finale, directed by About a Boy's Chris Weitz, tells the story of this incredible chapter in history. Ben Kingsley stars as Eichmann, with Oscar Isaac as Peter Malkin, who was part of the team responsible for the capture. Lior Raz, Mélanie Laurent, Nick Kroll, and Haley Lu Richardson also star.
Although the film draws from various source materials, it partially adapts Eichmann in My Hands, a memoir written by Malkin himself.
Operation Finale will premiere on Netflix in the UK on 3 October.
