The Independent is trusted by 27 million Americans from across the entire political spectrum every month. Unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock you out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. But quality journalism must still be paid for.

April is going to be yet another busy month for Netflix.

Spearheading the new releases is nature series Our Planet, which will mark David Attenborough’s first foray into the world of streaming services.

The new show promises “exhilarating visuals” and “stunning footage” of rarely-seen animals making it a must for fans of BBC documentary shows Planet Earth and Blue Planet.

Fans of Netflix’s reboot of Sabrina will be happy to see its concluding second chapter, as Kiernan Shipka’s teenage witch begins to learn more about her heritage.

Elsewhere, Brie Larson’s directorial debut Unicorn Store – which she also stars in alongside Captain Marvel co-star Samuel L Jackson – will arrive on the streaming service a year and a half after premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). It follows Kit (Larson), a twenty-something dreamer who receives an invitation that will fulfill her childhood dreams.

It’s also a big month for the classics as Ridley Scott epic Gladiator and Steven Spielberg’s original Jurassic Park trilogy will all be available to stream.

You can find the full list of every movie and TV show joining Netflix below.
