The stalker thriller, which stars Penn Badgley as serial killer Joe Goldberg, has proven to be one of the streaming giant’s most popular shows.
Following a dramatic conclusion and bombshell twist to season two, fans have been clamouring for details surrounding its forthcoming third season.
The series’ showrunner Sera Gamble has now warned fans that You’s next season will be “f***ing bonkers”.
Gamble gave fans the update in a series of posts shared on Twitter yesterday (24 April) to mark the last day of shooting.
“Today is our last day of shooting season 3 of #YouNetflix. Can I brag to you for a hot second?” wrote Gamble.
She went on to state that “we had zero on-set positive COVID tests through a significant and scary surge here in LA. And haven’t had one since”.
Gamble added: “(Also, the episodes are f***ing bonkers and the performances are insanely good. That’s all I’ll say about that till we are ready to talk about the new season.)”
While any details surrounding series three have been kept under wraps, fans can expect Badgley to return to his starring role as Joe, joined by his season two co-star Victoria Pedretti (previously The Haunting of Bly Manor), who plays Love Quinn.

Travis Van Winkle (The Last Ship) is set to star as a self-help guru in the third season, while Shalita Grant (Search Party) plays a social-media obsessed blogger.
Michaela McManus, who was briefly seen in the final episode of series two, will return as Joe’s new neighbour, Natalie.
Tati Gabrielle, a favourite from another Netflix show, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, will play librarian Marienne.
Following pandemic-related delays, season three is expected to arrive on Netlix later this year.
