Adam Woodyatt (left) is delighted to meet Thierry Henry (ITV)
Adam Woodyatt, better known to the nation as Eastenders' Ian Beale, just could not contain himself last night at the National Television Awards as he met Arsenal great Thierry Henry.
But all is not as it seems, Woodyatt has revealed himself to be a massive Liverpool supporter in the past, and has written numerous articles expressing his love for the Anfield club. Maybe the sight of the Gunners legend, their record goalscorer with 228 goals, has changed his affinity.
Host Dermot O'Leary, who is an avid Gooner, bowed to the presence of Henry, as the Frenchman entered the stage to present the award for Best Talent Show after Eastenders had won Best Serial Drama.

"We'd like to accept this for the Weatherfield One," he said.
