From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

Canadian crooner Michael Bublé will host a series of festival radios shows on Magic 105.4 from the beginning of December.

For the second year-running the multi-platinum selling artist will present shows on every Saturday of December plus a special show on Christmas Day.

“I actually asked [to return to the show this year] for that, no one asked if I wanted to do it,” Bublé admitted. “I was hoping I could do it again, I enjoy it so much.  “

He continued: “I would love to make it annual, you know for me to be part of tradition like that and to be invited into people’s homes during the holiday that means so much, it’s incredible!”

Bublé is planning to answer listeners’ questions submitted via magic.co.uk and will treat audiences “to some of their most-loved Christmas tunes”.

Last year’s show was nominated for a Sony Radio Award 2012.
