According to Deadline, she’s signed on to feature in the US version of the show, titled The Great Holiday Baking Show, along with award-winning pastry chef Johnny Iuzzini.
The four-week special will be hosted by married-couple Nia Vandalos, of My Big Fat Greek Wedding fame, and Ian Gomez, from Cougar Town.
Much like GBBO, the nation's best amateur bakers will be selected to compete in numerous themed challenges, hoping to be crowned The Great Holiday Baking Champion.
Over 14.5 million people tuned in to watch Nadiya Jamir Hussain win The Great British Bake Off, defeating rivals Tamal Ray and Ian Cumming to become champion.
In 2013, The American Baking Competition debuted on CBS, featuring Paul Hollywood as one of the judges. The show was cancelled after one season due to dire ratings.
The Great Holiday Baking Show will debut 30 November on ABC.
