This election is still a dead heat, according to most polls. In a fight with such wafer-thin margins, we need reporters on the ground talking to the people Trump and Harris are courting. Your support allows us to keep sending journalists to the story.

As 2015 drew to a close, there was one Netflix show on everyone’s minds: Making a Murderer. The curious case of Steven Avery and Teresa Halbach proved a hit phenomena that fixated thousands of viewers from around the world, turning many into armchair detectives hoping to discover who the murderer was.

Since then, the case has developed somewhat, Kathleen Zellner becoming Avery’s new lawyer, hoping to prove his innocence and claiming DNA evidence can prove he didn’t commit the crime.

With her on the case, many suspected that a second series may be on the way. They were right. The official Twitter handle for Making A Murderer has confirmed more episodes are on the way, stating “the filmmakers [Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos] are working on new episodes that continue the story of the first season.”

How the case will progress, who can say, but with Avery firmly in the media limelight, the second season will likely be very different to the first. Here’s everything we know about season two already.
