From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Over the year, a wide variety of celebrities have joined James Corden for his surprisingly successful ‘Carpool Karaoke’ sketch, including the likes of Adele, Michelle Obama, and Justin Bieber.

The latest pop superstar to help the ex-Gavin and Stacey actor get to work is Madonna, the preview for which has been released by Corden.

During the brief clip, Madonna sings along to "Bitch I'm Madonna" and “Vogue”, all with added dance moves and questions from the host.

"What was a night out with Michael Jackson? Or a night in?" Corden asks of one of her romances, to which she answers: "So you want me to kiss and tell then, don't you?”

As noted by The Mirror, after the segment was released, the clip was shown on Good Morning Britain, with host Piers Morgan pretending to throw up after viewing, adding: “I loved Madonna when she acted her age.”

Meanwhile, Madonna made headlines after managing to turn Britney Spears’ hit song “Toxic” into an anti-Donald Trump anthem.
