Viewers are raving about Macaulay Culkin’s performance in the new season of American Horror Story.

The actor stars in Double Feature, the show’s 10th season. Its first two episodes aired on Wednesday in the US. This season is expected to air in the Uk on Disney+ in October.

Fans have been praising Culkin’s performance in the first two episodes, with one person deeming him “literally a perfect fit” for the show.

“[AHS stars] Finn Wittrock and Evan Peters are the main reason I watch @AHSFX but this season it’s all about Macaulay Culkin,” someone else wrote.

Another person expressed the hope that Culkin will become a regular on the series as it continues, instead of staying on for just one season.

Culkin himself, who turned 41 the day after the episodes aired, referenced the role in a tweet that read: “Also, there seems to be a super handsome, middle-aged dude on this season of American Horror Story. If I were you I'd totally check him out.”

American Horror Story returns on 1 September with two more episodes.
