Luke Perry’s fiancée has shared a moving tribute to the late actor, expressing her gratitude for the years they spent together.

Wendy Madison Bauer and Perry were engaged when the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum died last week following a stroke.

“The past 11.5 years with Luke were the happiest years of my life, and I am grateful to have had that time with him,” Bauer told People in a statement.

“I also want to thank his children, family, and friends for their love and support.

“We have found comfort in one another and in the knowledge that our lives were touched by an extraordinary man. He will be dearly missed.”

Bauer also thanked those who have honoured Perry’s memory and shared their love and support.

Prior to his relationship with Bauer, Perry was married to actor Rachel “Minnie” Sharp.

The pair, who split in 2003 after 10 years of marriage, had two children together: a son named Jack and a daughter named Sophie.

Bauer, a therapist, and Perry, kept their relationship private.
