From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Your support makes all the difference.

The trailer for tonight's Love Island has been released and it seems like Jack has some answering to do.

Producers send the Essex boy's girlfriend Dani for afternoon drinks with his ex Ellie who entered the villa last week, and while there, Dani asks to know the truth about Jack's past behaviour.

“Was he a bit of a f***boy to ya? I'd rather know,” Dani asks Ellie to which she responds in the affirmative.

Later that evening. Dani pulls Jack to one side to admonish him for his past behaviour before expressing her concerns over their future.

Their fellow contestants watch on as Jack grows angrier and angrier with the situation.

Meanwhile, Josh explains the decision he made during last night's controversial recoupling ceremony which saw him pick new arrival Kazimir over Georgia, telling the latter he made more of a connection with Kaz in four days than he did with her in three weeks. It doesn't go down well.

Love Island airs tonight at the later time of 9.30pm on ITV2.
