Lily Allen has recalled an interview with James Corden in which the Gavin and Stacey star ‘came onto her' before a studio audience.

A Twitter user brought up an old clip of the singer’s show BBC Three chatshow Lily and Friends, dating back to 2008.

During the segment, Allen complimented Corden’s “dazzling eyes”, the actor returning with: "I don't think you know how lovely you are.”

After some light banter, Allen quipped "just f**k me”, adding: "That's how you get into a girl's pants.” The pair then played a game to see if they were compatible. Watch the cringe-inducing interview below.

Allen has since explained why she was unable to shut down the supposed advances, writing on Twitter: “No, I wasn’t horny for James Cordon either, he came on to me in front of a studio audience, if I’d have shut him down, I would have been labeled cold or up myself or snobbish.”

Meanwhile, Allen recently announced she will be releasing an “uncomfortable, shocking, brutal” memoir next year.
