Almost 20 years later, fans of The Sopranos are only just discovering that Lady Gaga appeared in an episode.

The singer briefly featured in a 2001 episode of the hit HBO show – she was 15 years-old at the time.

Gaga – real name Stefani Germanotta – was in the third season outing, titled “The Telltale Moozadell”, playing a rebellious student at the same school attended by AJ (Robert Iler).

Her character gets Tony Soprano’s son into trouble in the school pool, so much so that he gets suspended. It was the only time she appeared on the show.

Seven years later, Germanotta would release her debut single as Lady Gaga, “Just Dance”.

While the clip of Gaga’s performance surfaced online years ago, there are some people who have only just made the discovery and can’t quite believe she showed up on the acclaimed drama.

Lady Gaga fans are also overjoyed after her long-rumoured single “Stupid Love” leaked online.

Just days after reports suggested a new single would be released in February, the song has already made its way on to the internet.
