Kim Cattrall has hit out at Sarah Jessica Parker over a message she sent regarding the former's brother who died unexpectedly earlier this week.
The Sex and the City co-stars' feud reached a new peak with Cattrall calling her communication “a painful reminder of how cruel [she] really [was] then.”
“My Mom asked me today 'When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?' Cattrall wrote, adding: ”Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.“
The actor posted a photo of a message that read simply: “I don't need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker” capping it with a link to a New York Post article detailing the dissolution of their friendship written in October 2017.
Parker had shared her condolences under Cattrall's initial message announcing her brother' Chris' untimely death on Sunday (4 February), saying: “Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx.”
Chris Cattrall's body was discovered on his rural property in Blackfalds, Alberta, Canada. While a cause of death was not given, it is not being considered suspicious by police.
