Tiger King's Joe Exotic tells Netflix he's 'done with Carole Baskin saga'

Tiger King star Joe Exotic has compared himself to George Floyd and claimed he will be dead in two to three months in a prison letter addressed to fans.

The letter, which was obtained by TMZ, sees Exotic beg Donald Trump to grant him a “miracle” and free him from prison. He writes that his “soul is dead”, adding: “I struggle every day to hold onto what little hope I can find.”

Tiger breeder Exotic is currently serving 22 years in prison for trying to hire a hitman to kill big cat conservationist Carole Baskin – their long-standing rivalry formed the basis of the smash hit Netflix docuseries. Exotic has always insisted he is innocent.

Also in his letter, Exotic claims that many of his former associates are “riding the white horse of fame” at his expense. He compared his treatment to that of George Floyd, whose death has sparked international protests against racism and police brutality.

“It’s like George Floyd,” Exotic writes. “His message got lost in the riots, my message got abandon [sic] for money and fame. Shame on everyone making a buck, and you people that think their [sic] cool, famous, remember how that knife went in my back, it will go in yours also.”

He adds that he believes he’ll be dead “in two-three months”, as he alleges that he has not been given “blood infusions” since January, writing that he has an antibody deficiency and anemia which requires a blood infusion every four weeks.

“It’s like I have been send [sic] to Death Row,” Exotic claims. “They stopped all of my medication except one. This place is hell on earth.”

Exotic also urges a number of celebrities to campaign for his release, writing: “Cardi B, Kim [Kardashian] – Please ladies, I’ve done nothing wrong but act a fool to protect my zoo from arson and people hurting my animals. Hear my scream for help.”

Last week (2 June), an Oklahoma judge ordered Exotic turn over his prized zoo to Baskin. She has long accused Exotic of abusing the animals formerly in his care.
