Jessie J has revealed she would like Adele or Emile Sandé to replace her on The Voice following her departure from the BBC series.
The 25-year-old singer told Capital FM: “I just want someone credible and someone that can really sing because a lot of the audience don’t see the amount of work that goes in.”
She added she’s also like Annie Lennox or Lulu to take her place.
“I’d love to see someone like Emile Sandé, Adele, Lulu, Annie Lennox. Lulu is like a timeless voice for our country.”
Jessie J, real name Jessica Cornish, announced she was quitting the show last month after just two series to promote her new album.
She said: “I’ve absolutely loved my time on The Voice and I hope everyone saw and knows how passionately I felt about the show.
“However, I can’t wait to promote my new record around the world and that has to take priority. I shall be keeping a very close eye on series three, showing my support in every way I can.”
Fellow coach Danny O’Donoghue has also confirmed he will be leaving the show due to recording commitments with his band The Script.
Neither Will.i.am nor Tom Jones have confirmed whether they will be staying for the third series.
