Then, one of the show’s executive producers left, followed by the BBC boss in charge of the reinvented car show. However, with the full line-up having now been revealed, things are looking slightly more on the way up and onward.
Attention has turned to Jeremy Clarkson’s Amazon Prime show which has just begun filming in Barbados. The ex-Top Gear presenter is there with co-hosts Richard Hamilton and James May, and has recently been in ‘a bit of an accident’.
Clarkson Tweeted out the picture of a disheveled car to which Hamilton replied on the social media website: “Two words for you: Dingle. Berry.”
Looks like they're up to their old antics once more. According to reports, the trio has signed on with Amazon to produce three 12-episode seasons, each episode lasting around the hour mark.
Anyone who is a member of Amazon Prime will be able to access the episodes in autumn, and will - in the opening episode - compare three hypercars, according to The Telegraph: a Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder.
