From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Courteney Cox has shared a video compilation of her Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston struggling to pot balls in pool.

In a series of clips posted to Instagram, Cox can be seen laughing at Aniston’s hopeless approach. In response, Aniston playfully tells her to “f*** off” and holds up her middle finger.

The post is accompanied with the caption: “I may have had a good night...but could my friend BE any cuter?”

Aniston, Cox, and their Friends co-stars Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry were due to shoot a reunion special of the sitcom in March.

When productions were shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was then pushed back to May, and then again to August.

On Friday (7 August), it was announced the special would be delayed again as America’s grim death rate continues to accelerate.

Speaking about the new delay, Aniston said: “Unfortunately it’s very sad that we had to move it again. It was, ‘How do we do this with live audiences?’ This is not a safe time. Period. That’s the bottom line. It’s not a safe time to do it.”

It was also recently announced that Aniston and her ex-husband Brad Pitt are reuniting on a new project.

They will both take part in a virtual table read of Fast Times at Ridgemont High, the cult 1982 coming-of-age film.
