From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Lisa Snowdon has said she felt “under pressure” to strip down to her bikini for a shower on I'm a Celebrity.

The presenter appeared on the series in 2016, the year Scarlett Moffatt was crowned Queen of the Jungle.

Reflecting upon her time on the ITV reality show, Snowdon said she delayed putting her bikini on “because [she] knew that the cameras were there”.

“We put it off for as long as possible,” she told MailOnline. “We were like 'Oh no, we're going to be in the shower shot,' so we put it off for as long as possible in my year.”

Snowdon said that, when she finally did shower in her bikini, she felt “exposed”.

The former Capital FM DJ said she believes producers will place cameras around indoor washers for this year's contestants in Gwrych, North Wales.

Celebrities, including EastEnders star Jessica Plummer, broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire and TV personality Shane Richie, will be taking part in what will be a much colder series than usual.

But, according to Snowdon: “There's no way they will miss seeing people in the shower.”

“They will still have to shower, so they must have thought that through,” she added. “There will still be an iconic shower scene or two.”

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! returns to ITV this Sunday (15 November). Find the full lineup here.
