Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. There are now just hours to go until jungle fever kickstarts again on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!, but you still have time to learn a little about the new batch of ten campmates.

Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter, former What Not to Wear presenter Susannah Constantine, boxing champion Chris Eubank, footballer Kieron Dyer and Dragon's Den businessman Duncan Bannatyne are among the contestants keen to be crowned king or queen of the jungle.
Ant and Dec will be back to host and have already been getting into the part, dressing up as castaways for a promotional photo. What we’d really like to see is the dastardly duo taking part in the show themselves, which surely has to happen at some stage (take note, ITV bosses).
Sadly 2015 is not their time, but who will be sharing a home with snakes, rats and every creepy crawly under the sun?
Naturally, everyone is most excited to see the above celebrities get involved in some supremely nasty Bushtucker Trials. These are always at least mildly traumatic, and this year looks set to be the most gruesome yet. One trial, apparently called ‘Sun Scream’, will see contestants smear vile things like fish guts over each other.
Sheep’s testicles might also be playing a part, if the Daily Star is to be believed. We’re talking genitals dangled into their mouths as they do the limbo, before eating the likes of camel penis porridge and bush pig semen. Tasty.
I’m a Celebrity launches Sunday 15 November at 9pm on ITV.
