I'm A Celebrity: Nadine Dorries munches her way through camel toe and ostrich anus

Suspended Tory MP Nadine Dorries got her teeth into life in the jungle by chomping on a camel's toe and an ostrich's anus in her latest stomach-churning challenge on I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here.

The politician was retching at one stage as she tried to swallow a rotten egg after viewers made her face a second bushtucker trial.

But Dorries, who caused a furore last week when it emerged she heading to the Australian jungle during parliamentary time, managed to win her challenge - and food for her camp - by eating more nasties than rival Helen Flanagan.

Afterwards Dorries admitted on the ITV1 show: "I feel sick as a dog."

The 55-year-old MP managed to gobble down four out of five unpleasant snacks, hours after she freaked out during another task which saw her buried beneath thousands of bugs.

First Dorries had to knock back a baked spider before moving on to the camel toe, which she found tough to chew but still completed. She also managed to get through an ostrich's anus and swallowed a lamb's testicle but failed to eat a fermented duck egg.

Coronation Street star Flanagan finished three of the courses, which meant she failed to win meals for her team.

Afterwards Dorries said: "I actually feel a bit sick now, but I'm really glad I did it.

"When I sat down and saw that massive spider with hairy legs on the plate I didn't think I was going to be able to do it. The thought went through my head, 'oh, we're not going to eat any tonight', but I thought to myself, 'yeah, you can do this'."

Explaining the challenge to her fellow campers she said: "The only one I failed on was this black egg. I tried it, I got it in my mouth and I just vomited it. I had no control over it."

She said the ostrich was "gross", but predicted if she was against Flanagan in future, she would beat her again because she is "mentally stronger".

Despite losing, Flanagan who played Corrie's Rosie Webster, said she was pleased with performance which had given her a confidence boost.

"I've never been so proud of myself. I can't believe I ate those things. I'm on top of the world.

"I know I lost by one point. It's kind of boosted my confidence that I can do things. I feel really happy that I got what I got."

A day earlier she had been talking about quitting the jungle because she was disappointed by her performance in the burial challenge.

Dorries last week had the Conservative whip withdrawn in her absence until she is quizzed about her decision to skip the country and take part in the show.
