Your support makes all the difference. With the eighth season of Game of Thrones fast approaching, speculation over the fate of Westeros has grown rampant.
A new theory that has begun doing the rounds online concerns Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey).
Fans believe the two heavy-weight characters may be about to unwantingly marry each other for the good of the world.
IBT points out their pairing would unify the North and South, bringing together two battling sides of Westeros to defeat the Night King’s army.
And while the two despise each other, the honourable Jon Snow has been known to make sacrifices for the greater good.
Cersei, likewise, could do with winning some good will from the people of King’s Landing, who have grown to detest her as Queen on the Iron Throne.
Additionally, Cersei also has a baby coming, one with her brother Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), which could further make her disliked by the nation.
Of course, their first meeting did not exactly go swimmingly. Jon openly declined to call Cersei his Queen – plus there’s the fact her acts have tormented the Starks, leading to deaths and Bran being paralysed.
Will the incoming threat of White Walkers lead to a marriage beyond belief? fans will no doubt have to wait and see.
