WARNING: Spoilers for Game of Thrones season 8, episode 4

Fans have spotted a glaring mistake in the latest episode of Game of Thrones, after a coffee cup appeared in one of the scenes of “The Last of the Starks”.

The moment occurred when our heroes gathered to celebrate their victory at the Battle of Winterfell, with fans already furious over Tyrion (Peter Dinklage)’s “virgin shaming” of Brienne (Gwendoline Christie).

A shot of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), who herself didn’t seem particularly in a jubilant mood, revealed what appeared to be a cup of takeaway coffee.

Fans took to Twitter to point out the mistake.

The latest episode of the show’s final season saw Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) suffer some devastating losses after arriving in King’s Landing to face Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey).

You can watch the intense new trailer for the penultimate episode of the show here.

The final season of Game of Thrones continues every Sunday. The show will be available on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK.
