Game of Thrones season 6 wraps Spain filming, winter is finally coming
Country was hope to Meereen and more

Game of Thrones wrapped the bulk of its filming for season 6 this week, saying goodbye to Spain which has doubled for so many locations in the Seven Kingdoms.
HBO had a cake made especially for the occasion, which bears the House Stark sigil and images of the five major sites it has shot at over the past few months - Girona, Bardenas Reales, Zafra Castle, Peñíscola, and Almería.
Some key scenes were filmed in Spain [spoilers ahead], including the Tower of Joy and the apparent arson of a Dothraki camp by Daenery’s Drogon.

Several cast members have been Instagramming photos of themselves leaving the country now shooting is complete, though filming continues in Northern Ireland where many interior and Westerns-Based scenes are shot.
Eugene Simon (Lancel Lannister) posted a photo of himself enjoying his time in London ahead of Comic Con, before heading off to film his last few scenes.
All the spoilers point to a dramatic season ahead, which it seems will almost certainly see the resurrection of Jon Snow, along with the return of a few old faces.
Game of Thrones season 6 has an expected air date of April 2016.
