Your support makes all the difference.Game of Thrones (major spoilers ahead) has had a few hints of new romances this season - chiefly Brienne of Tarth and Tormund Giantsbane/Jaime Lannister - but now another is potentially on the cards, at least in the minds of some fans, Daenerys Targaryen and Yara Greyjoy.
It all stems from this episode 9 scene in Meereen in which they discuss Euron Greyjoy's intentions:
Theon: "The Iron fleet isn't all [Euron's] bringing, he also wants to give you -"
Yara, interjecting: "His' big cock', I think he said. Euron's offer is also an offer of marriage, see, you won't get one without the other."
Daenerys: "And I imagine your offer is free of any marriage demands."
Yara: "I never demand, but I'm up for anything really."
The suggestive remark from Yara, who we know to be gay, raised a coy smile from Dany.
A major romance between the pair seems unlikely given how Daenerys' whole narrative has been about her being entirely independent, but hell, this is Game of Thrones so a sex scene can never be ruled out.
With ships and dragons between them, the Targaryen-Greyjoy alliance is set to be a strong one, and it will be interesting to see how it interacts with the newly-restored House Stark next season.
The rest of the episode was devoted to Jon and Sansa, who took on Ramsay Bolton in a thrilling battle sequence.
