Twin Peaks and Fresh Prince of Bel Air actor Galyn Görg has died, aged 55.

Görg, who was also a dancer, died of cancer one day before her 56th birthday, her agent Sheila Legette confirmed.

Her film credits included RoboCop 2 (199) and Point Break (1991).

In David Lynch’s cult series Twin Peaks, Görg played Nancy O’Reilly, the sister of One Eyed Jacks madam Blackie O’Reilly (Victoria Catlin). She appeared in three episodes.

She also played police detective Leora Maxwell in Sam Raimi’s sci-fi drama MANTIS in 1994.

Two years later, Görg appeared in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air as Helena, a woman who knocks Will Smith’s character out in a boxing ring.

Her extensive list of TV credits includes The A-Team, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Parks and Recreation and Lost.

Those closest to Görg have set up a GoFundMe page to help her family with funeral expenses.
