The forthcoming instalment, titled "Time Heist", sees the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) and his assistant Clara (Jenna Coleman) setting out to rob the bank of Karabraxos - the deadliest bank in the cosmos.
But of course their task is not easy – the pair must evade security and come face-to-face with the Teller, a creature that can detect guilt.
Viewers will also be introduced to Ms Delphox (played by guest star Keeley Hawes), whose role as the head of security renders her a woman to be reckoned with.
The countdown to the heist begins...
Doctor Who continues on Saturday 20 September on BBC One
