And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

The Will & Grace star has been an outspoken critic of Trump and his policies.
Trump has been criticised in the US for playing down the coronavirus threat.
The country has registered at least 8,700 infections and at least 151 deaths.
