David Walliams claims BGT Queen impression will upset Buckingham Palace
Star will do his own version of the Christmas Speech in special episode
David Walliams has claimed his impression of the Queen on Britain’s Got Talent will upset Buckingham Palace.
The actor and comedian will do his own version of the monarch’s Christmas speech on the festive BGT special, which airs on 25 December. The episode will see all four judges perform on stage.
“That was fun,” he told The Sun. “It’s just jokes about the other judges, more than jokes about the Queen. In any case, the Queen is going to watch it and not be very happy.”
Fellow judge Amanda Holden called the sketch “kind of believable”.
The show will see a number of previous acts return, including Stravros Flatley.
Presenters Ant and Dec will also feature, dressed as elves.
This Christmas, Walliams will also star in TV special Jack and the Beanstalk: After Ever After with Sheridan Smith.
