The full cast was announced yesterday (3 September) with recognisable names including rapper Nelly, former Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean and Disney Channel alum Skai Jackson, as well as actors Justina Machado (Jane the Virgin, Six Feet Under) and Anne Heche (Psycho, Donnie Brasco, John Q).
Besides Baskin, other reality stars who will be taking to the dance floor later this month include Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe, Selling Sunset real estate agent Chrishell Stause, host of MTV’s Catfish Nev Shulman, talk show host Jeannie Mai and Monica Aldama, the cheerleading head coach featured in Netflix’s hit documentary Cheer.
Sporting figures feature heavily this year with Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir, Super Bowl champion Vernon Davis and NBA player Charles Oakley all set to appear on the popular series.
The celebrity and dancer pairings will be revealed in the premiere episode.
It was announced in July that supermodel Tyra Banks will host season 29, replacing longtime hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews.
Dancing With the Stars will air on 14 September on ABC.
