Crisis in Six Scenes: Woody Allen’s Miley Cyrus-starring Amazon TV series gets title and release date

Woody Allen’s first foray into television has been in development for a while now, but it seems we’ll finally get to see it in the autumn.
Amazon confirmed at the Television Critics Association that the six-episode show will premiere on Prime on 30 September, 2016.
It is titled Crisis in Six Scenes and stars Miley Cyrus, Elaine May, John Magaro, and Rachel Brosnahan, though judging by the first clip from it, Woody Allen (who wrote and directed every episode, naturally) seems to play a large role too.
Oh and about that first clip - as much as I want this show to be great, you might want to prepare to launch yourself behind the sofa:
Crisis in Six Scenes will be a standalone season and not have a second, taking place in the 1960s during turbulent times in the U.S., when a middle-class suburban family is visited by a guest who turns their household upside down.
It will be joined in Amazon’s “month of comedy” by new show Fleabag and season 3 of Transparent.
