Will Smith has launched a new 12-part series on the social media platform Snapchat, filmed from self-isolation.
Titled Will From Home, the series will follow the I Am Legend actor as he remains in his home and garage.
Appearing on the show will be members of Smith’s family and celebrities including Tyra Banks.
Smith will also feature non-celebrity guests, who are following social distancing guidelines by staying at home.
Snap’s head of original content Sean Mills told The Hollywood Reporter that the idea for the series evolved from conversations between the company and Smith’s production company, Westbrook Media.
“Will was feeling a lot of pent up creative energy and was excited to do something with it in a new and different way,” Mills said.
Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Snapchat has been releasing news updates on its Discover platform, which has led to an overall increase in engagement.
New episodes of Will From Home will stream on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
