From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Since Malcolm in the Middle, Bryan Cranston has grown a reputation for playing more serious characters, mainly down to his role as Mr. White in Breaking Bad.
However, he has forgotten how to be funny; in a recent sketch on Jimmy Kimmel, the actor poked fun at himself in a ‘Super Sweet 60’ sketch.
In the 15 minutes clip, Cranston acts like a spoilt 16-year-old demanding his parents put on the perfect party despite not having the budget.
Numerous Breaking Bad cast members appear, including Bob Odenkirk (Saul in the show), Charles Baker (Skinny Pete) and - of course - Aaron Paul (Jesse).
Unfortunately for Cranston, his Lion King-themed party is almost ruined when his Paul turns up in the same Lion outfit, with Cranston Sr. eventually kicking him out.
Everything is saved when a white Limousine turns up with Sisqó in the boot - the artist singing a few songs while Cranston boogies on the dance floor.
The actor is next appearing in the film The Infiltrator, alongside John Leguizamo and Benjamin Bratt.
