The 21-year-old, who is tipped to be the first to be voted out of the house, said the behaviour "put me off".
The Kazakhstan-born former waitress was quizzed by her housemates about the end of the romance with the Swede, real name Jonas Altberg.
Footballer turned actor Vinnie Jones asked her: "Was there an official statement to end it?"
The model replied: "Oh, I just said 'I think we should stop this. I like someone else. I just came out of a long relationship and I want to be single'."
Jones told her: "You looked all right at lunchtime".
Ivanova, who had a boyfriend when she entered the Celebrity Big Brother house, replied: "At first I told him to stop being so clingy because it puts me off. Then he stopped. I thought it's not really worth it so I told him.
"He said 'It's all right, it's fine.' That's it."
Former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss and actress Stephanie Beacham later disagreed on who was using who, Jonas or or Ivanova.
Beacham said: "He was very much using Kat. I thought that Kat was actually going to get hurt."
But Fleiss replied: "I thought Jonas's feelings looked a little bit hurt, or maybe he celebrated by running around naked."
Earlier, Ivanova told Altberg: "I was thinking we need to stop this thing because it's not worth it in the end, and we're more friends anyway. Before it gets out of hand. I know I'll regret it because I really care about someone, and it's not worth it."
Ivanova is the 3-10 favourite to be axed from Celebrity Big Brother, according to bookmaker Ladbrokes, in the eviction betting.
Ivanova, Fleiss and British rapper Lady Sovereign will all face the public eviction vote this week.
