Little Mix fans were left in tears after Jade Thirlwall made all four members of the band out of biscuit on The Great Celebrity Bake Off.

During Tuesday (30 March) night’s episode of the Stand Up To Cancer spin-off series, the celebrity contestants were tasked with making a scene out of biscuits and meringue for the showstopper challenge.

Thirlwall decided that she was going to make a Little Mix concert as a representation of the one thing she “can’t live without”, and made herself, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson out of gingerbread.

The scene was tinged with sadness as it was filmed before Nelson announced her split from the band in December, with Little Mix now operating as a three-piece.

“Why am I so emotional at Jade making Little Mix biscuits,” one viewer asked, while another concurred: “No but Jade baking Little Mix for ‘something you can’t live without’ my heart.”

“Jade making Little Mix biscuits... brb gonna cry,” one fan tweeted.

“JADE MAKING LITTLE MIX BECAUSE THEY ARE SOMETHING SHE CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT OMG I’LL RIGHT BACK I’M CRYING,” another fan wrote.

One tweet read: “Jade doing a Little Mix concert biscuit [crying emoji] I know this was filmed before Jesy left but still…”

“Suddenly started crying when Jade says Jesy’s name hELP,” another fan wrote, while one viewer tweeted: “Jade making a Jesy biscuit [broken heart emoji].”

Thirlwall won the episode of The Great Celebrity Bake Off, beating out YouTuber KSI, comedian Katherine Ryan and presenter Stacey Dooley to the Star Baker apron.

Nelson announced her departure from Little Mix at the end of last year, describing her nine years with the band as “the most incredible time of my life” but saying that it had “really taken a toll on my mental health”.

The Great Celebrity Bake Off for SU2C continues Tuesday at 8pm on Channel 4.
