TV Baftas 2015: When is it on and will Benedict Cumberbatch, Sheridan Smith and Olivia Colman be winners?

It's TV Baftas time again and we'll be there reporting all the winners this weekend. Keen to get involved and watch the ceremony yourself, or simply wondering who we think will win? Here's our brief lowdown on all you need to know:

When? Sunday 10 May at 7pm, shown on BBC One from 8pm

Where? Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London

Host? Graham Norton will host for the ninth time and is also up for two awards - Comedy and Comedy Entertainment and Entertainment Performance.

Why? “To reward the very best in television broadcast on British screens during the preceding year”

Who's attending? James Corden is trekking back from the US to be there, with Mary Berry, Danny Dyer, Sheridan Smith, Jessica Raine, Hugh Bonneville, Maisie Williams, James Nesbitt, Tess Daly, Claudia Winkleman and Ant & Dec also on the guest list.

Benedict Cumberbatch and James Nesbitt are in hot competition to bag Leading Actor for Sherlock and The Missing, while Sheridan Smith is runaway favourite to win Leading Actress for her acclaimed turn in Cilla.

James Norton from Happy Valley is tipped for Supporting Actor but Supporting Actress is a closer race, especially between Amanda Redman for Tommy Cooper: Not Like That, Like This and Vicky McClure for Line of Duty.

Happy Valley looks set to pip The Missing to Best Serial Drama and Ant & Dec are pretty much guaranteed yet more TV awards success with Saturday Night Takeaway in the Best Entertainment Performance category.

Olivia Colman is nominated for her fourth consecutive Bafta and is the bookie’s favourite to win Comedy Actress for Rev, with Brendan O’Carroll the probable Comedy Actor victor for Mrs Brown’s Boys.
