The highly anticipated sixth season of Line of Duty is finally hitting screens, with Kelly Macdonald joining the cast as the latest guest star.
Filming on the BBC’s stratospherically successful police corruption drama had suffered delays as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, amid a spate of postponements and cancellations across the wider film and TV industries.
But now the new series is upon us with Martin Compston, Adrian Dunbar and Vicky McClure all returning to hunt down corrupt coppers.
Details of the plot, which creator Jed Mercurio previously called “ludicrously implausible”, have been kept under lock and key. But lots of behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot have been shared since filming recommenced in September. Check them out below…

But thankfully everyone had their masks on…
Some days were tiring…
But it was worth every minute…
