From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

With I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! entering its home stretch, we’re seeing more and more celebrities leaving Gwyrch Castle for good.

So far, four contestants have been eliminated from the jungle: Hollie Arnold, Ruthie Henshall, Beverley Callard and Victoria Derbyshire. The latter two campmates left the castle on Monday (30 November), following a shock double elimination.

With I’m a Celebrity usually being filmed in Australia, the contestants are used to ending their time on the show in the luxurious Palazzo Versace hotel on the Gold Coast.

But as 2020’s show has been filmed in Wales, this year’s option for eliminated guests is a little closer to home, at Carden Park Hotel in Cheshire.

After weeks of cold showers and sleeping on uncomfortable beds, they will be treated to a life of luxury in the hotel which has four luxury restaurants, a spa, and a golf course.

The next elimination will take place during tonight’s episode (1 December) of I’m a Celebrity ahead of Friday night’s (4 December) grand final.

Still left in competition are Jordan North, Giovanna Fletcher, Vernon Kay, Mo Farah, Jessica Plummer, Shane Richie, AJ Pritchard and Russell Watson.

While Radio 1 DJ North has been the bookies’ favourite to win the show for some time, author Fletcher has risen up the ranks over the last week. You can find the latest odds here.

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
