Born Michelle Shupack but better known by her stage name Michelle Visage, the US contestant is best known for her role as a judge on the TV series RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Visage previously co-hosted RuPaul’s VH1 TV talk show The RuPaul Show in 1996, as well as fronting VH1’s red carpet coverage of the Grammys in 1998. She later went on to co-host a number of radio shows in Miami and New York.

Prior to her career as a radio and TV host, she sang in two all-girl pop groups in the early Nineties including R&B dance vocal trio Seduction and The S.O.U.L.S.Y.S.T.EM.

Age: 46

Why is she there? She says she’s going into the house for the gay community. “They are my lifeline, they are my blood, they run through my veins,” she says.

What can we expect in the house? A strong showing if there is a drag-oriented task. “I would love a drag task, or a girl group task because I was in two groups. I’m down for anything. I’m a party girl that way!”

Odds of winning? 16/1
