As part of "Africa 95", Sadler's Wells plays host to the Ghana Dance Ensemble from 9-14 October. Founded in 1962, this 35-strong company of Africa's finest traditional dancers and musicians brings together the dance, music and history of Africa in an explosion of rhythm, movement and sound. Their latest work, Solma, is a fusion of old and new dance forms, exploring the tapestry of contemporary African culture.
There are 10 pairs of tickets on offer for the 9 Oct performance to the first Independent readers to call the box-office on 0171-713 6000, plus copies of the Rough Guide to West Africa for the first five callers. Please quote this Independent offer.
