A STRIKING WOMAN laps the room, singing songs in her sexy soprano as she passes tables, evoking the wit, satire and innuendo of 1920s Berlin cabaret. Inspired while researching the many different aspects of Jewish music, composers and librettists, Alexandra Valavelsky's performance forms part of the St Ceciliatide International Festival of Music.
