Stuttgart Ballet (Birmingham Hippodrome, Thorp St, 021-622 7486, Tues & Wed). The company founded by John Cranko pays tribute to Sir Kenneth MacMillan with Requiem, a prayer for peace, and Song of the Earth.
Amici Dance Theatre (Riverside Studios, W6, 081-748 3354, Wed to Sat). Bill Robins, a young performer with cerebral palsy, is the focus of The Journey, a new work by Wolfgang Stange.
Northern Ballet (Theatre Royal, Nottingham, 0602 482626, Tues to Sat). Triple with A Simple Man, about L S Lowry, Graham Lustig's D'Ensemble, with costumes by Kaffe Fassett, and Derek Williams's jazzy Extenzion.
Voltaire (Bloomsbury Theatre, WC1, 071-387 9629, Fri & Sat). Hunting and Gathering, a classical work by Jennifer Jackson, draws on African influences, and Where Are You? offers a journey through the psyche.
