The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, National Asthma Campaign, attends the preview of the Asthma Gift Fair at the Hurlingham Club, London SW6. The Duke of Kent attends a lunch at the Royal College of Surgeons, London WC2. Princess Alexandra attends the Queen Mother's Birthday Awards Lunch and Awards Presentation at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London W2.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; the Queen's Colour Squadron Royal Air Force mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Welsh Guards.
