The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh visit Durrington High School, Worthing, West Sussex; visit the Council Help Point, Burgess Hill, West Sussex; and open the Triangle Leisure Centre, Burgess Hill. The Duke of Edinburgh attends a dinner for the Berkshire Community Trust, at Frogmore House, Windsor. The Prince of Wales, President, the Prince's Trust, attends the Country Living Fair, Business Design Centre, London N1; and, on behalf of the Queen, holds an investiture at Buckingham Palace. The Duke of York opens the new Manufacturing Headquarters of A. and M. Hearing at Crawley, West Sussex; and, as Chairman, NSPCC Full Stop Appeal, visits the Windsor Pledge Site in Windsor Library, Windsor, Berkshire. The Duke of Kent opens the new Headquarters of the South East England Development Agency, Guildford, Surrey; and, as Chancellor, Surrey University, visits the university to see the work of Surrey Scholars.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; F Company Scots Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Irish Guards.
