Your support makes all the difference.Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" remains the top track among users of Last.fm, the internet radio station that lets users in more than 200 countries listen to tracks in the site's music library. Ke$ha's "TiK ToK," which held the second spot for several weeks, has been replaced by "Rhinestone Eyes" by Gorillaz for the week of March 7-14.
Tracks from new Gorillaz album Plastic Beach, which was officially released March 8 and became available for streaming a week earlier, dominate the Last.fm chart, which measures everything its users listen to using on the Last.fm website as well as hundreds of other music sites and services, including iTunes, Spotify, and The Hype Machine.
Gorillaz tracks "Rhinestone Eyes," "On Melancholy Hill," and "Broken" hold the second through fourth spots, and "Pirate Jet" also makes the list. The week's top five "hyped tracks" - those whose popularity increased by the highest percentage - are also all off the Plastic Beach album.
Three songs by Lady Gaga, as well as long-standing top tracks by Owl City and The xx, also made the weekly chart.
