Album: The Polyphonic Spree, Yes, It's True (Good Records)

The happy-clappy psychedelic gospel of The Beginning Stages... is now a no-less-utopian but more mainstream nostalgic pop-rock sound. With its unrelenting positivity, Yes, It's True sounds like the Flaming Lips fronted by Deepak Chopra, and valiantly courts the daytime radio play that will inevitably elude it.
