Murry is a denizen of Tupelo and his sensibility is a heavily laden one. "Demons", apparently. The result is a slow, pianistic Southern rock, as brown as the Mississippi and as fraught with undercurrents. Murry's voice is a felted baritone, his songwriting chord-to-chord. Fans of Springsteen's downer side might flow with the music's riverine vibe. The late Tim Mooney co-produces. NC
